CO-V7a Long Reach Articulated Arm Stand

Top quality, robust heavy duty articulated arm, long reach stand for use with microscopes, cameras and lenses.  Designed for continuous use in industry and research, constructed from high grade metal with steel bearings.  The CO-V7 has a highly versatile design allowing it to be used on most test, inspection and laboratory benches.  The microscope is mounted into a 'focussing ring/holder' at the end of the arm and it counterbalanced conveniently by the spring-loaded end section, this makes height adjustment and the movement of the microscope head very simple.  With several articulation points, two lockable height adjustments and a tiltable end this stand allows you to move the your optics into any position and to retract it into a compact space after use.
The arm is mounted onto a heavy metal base into which the vertical pillar is mounted (we also have direct bench mount and G-Clamp options if preferred on special order).  

The CO-V7 articulating boom arm can reach almost 1m yet folds into a 33x33cm space when not in use. Well-balanced and stable with smooth controlled movement, it has a removable first piece of the articulating arm that achieves even greater stability. The pole stands 53cm high and the articulating arm has an effective horizontal extension of 89cm. The last section of the stand, which supports the 25mm diameter end arbour pole onto which the focussing ring is mounted, is spring-loaded so that the lever can be moved out of the way without having to release the pre-set position of the microscope head.  (Alternative diameter end arbour poles of 30mm and 32mm are available on special order.).  From the list of products you can include a focussing ring/microscope holder for your microscope if you wish.
