It is compact and has an open hinge design to further reduce weight and make it easier for carryiong and focussing with one hand. The binocular has a particularly wide field of view and spectacle wearers will benefit from the large eye relief. Eyecups have a 2 step twist up down assembly.

Inside the weather-sealed housing the binocular has multicoated optics giving contrast-rich images with minimal glare. It also offers protection from the elements by being nitrogen filled making it resistant to rain, humidity and internal fogging.
